FAN. CHRYSLER TYPE.

The fan is fairly quiet and is effective at low speeds.

PEDALS. LOP.F.60119.
Anchorage of pedals has remained firmly attached. No slack can be felt in the bearings.

DASHBOARD AND BRACKETS. LOP.S.8725.

The whole of the bolts holding the dashboard to the brackets, and brackets to frame, were slack on either side. One bolt missing from bottom of N/S. bracket to dashboard.

FRONT AXLE CONTROLS. LOP.F.6257.

A slight play has developed in the bottom bearing of the O/S. axle controls. The oil supply has been adequate. On the N/S. considerable wear had taken place, both endways and in the diameter of the bearing. The oil supply has not been sufficient. We suggest that a N°3 Nijar should be fitted to these bearings in place of the N°2 we have been testing.

FRONT AND REAR HYDRAULIC DAMPERS.

The dampers have retained their poundage; oil loss 7ozs. during the mileage. The anchorage has given no trouble. Pressure to dampers has been maintained, and hand control satisfactory.

GOVERNOR CONTROL TO DAMPERS. LOP.F.85007.

The unit has lost nearly a pint of oil during the mileage. The leak still comes out of the drive.

REAR AXLE. LOP.G.86925.

The rear axle has been a good standard for quietness throughout the mileage, and free from oil leaks.

REAR BRAKES. LOP.G.86934. FRONT AXLE AND BRAKES LOP.G.86941.

The brakes have been very good for efficiency. Wear of brake shoes normal. The rear brakes squeak with a light load and finally pulling up. Front thump.

HAND AND FOOT BRAKE EQUALISING SHAFT.

There is still too much oil leaking out of the foot brake equalising shaft spherical bearings.

RADIATOR. LOP.H.86831 LEC.4091. 50m/m.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} HARRISON MATRIX GENERALLY MOUNTING.

The radiator has been free from water leaks. The near side plate has fouled the side bonnet strip, preventing full movement sideways. Water temperatures have been kept fairly constant, shutters have operated satisfactorily. Loss of water 4 pints during the mileage. Centre mounting given no trouble. Bottom tank fouls cup spindles at either side preventing full movement.
