PARIS TRIALS - 33-EX

(1) There is no provision made for jacking up in the event of a front tyre becoming deflated.

(2) We find that a lot of oil has been lost from the steering box via the Bijur pipe, i.e. there is a clearance between the outer diameter of this pipe and a plain bush which is fixed in the rocker shaft. This must of necessity have clearance in order to allow the rocker shaft to rotate.

I understand that there are schemes to deal with both the above points, and suggest that they should be applied to this car.

The scheme numbers are (1) N4535 and N4553.

(2) Modification to steering lubrication N4579.
