DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M23.11.27.

Further to our DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}3/M171127, we adopted the system using Lucas connectors on the front end of the frame to enable the wing to be removed without the difficulty of withdrawing, and subsequently replacing the wires through the stay and lamps.

We sent you N. sch. 2408. shewing the scheme for use on cars having our stays and head lamps carried on the wings. In this case the connectors need to be on the outside of the frame.

On N. sch. 2409, we shew a similar design for such a car having axle control.

The wiring shewn on F.77941. for the Sports Phantom does not achieve the object we had in view.

Since the headlamp wire does not pass to the outside of the frame, its connector should be inside the side channel.

The connector for the wing lamp should be outside the channel, as the wire for this lamp will go up on the under side of the wing.

Would you kindly arrange this modification and send us a revised print.
