ACCIDENT TO 15-EX.

Thank you for your Hsl/LG13.4.28.

I agree that points set down in this memo express the facts as I know them and convey correctly the impressions which I have of this accident.

There is one slight addition which I think might also be made to Item 1, which reads as follows:-

"Skidding which occurred with Mr. Grylls and with CWB. occurred on wet roads".

I think the following should be added:-

"The general character, however, of the road at the point where the accident occurred was not such as would lead one to expect any skidding, nor had there been any previous feeling of want of adhesion previously, although many many miles of exactly similar road had been covered at the same speed. Parsons' report on this road, as examined subsequent to the accident, bears out this view."
