Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd., Derby. [Handwritten: WST] Gentlemen, For the attention of Mr. West - Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.5/MA. We are in receipt of your letter of January 31st and have noted what you say about cooler running plugs for the 20/25 chassis. It has, however, occurred to us in the meantime that our standard K.S.5 plug might suit your purpose. We are, therefore, sending you a dozen of these under separate cover and will discuss the matter with Mr. West on Tuesday next. We were very pleased to learn this morning that Mr. West is proposing to visit us on Tuesday next and we have already made arrangements with Mrl Nichols at Cricklewood for his transport. We are also sending to-night under separate cover two each types 744(21), 744(10) and 744(22). These plugs are made up from the special steel which Mr. West handed to the Writer, namely, K.E.332, K.E.965 and M.M.C. We shall be most interested to know the result of your test with these plugs. Yours faithfully, p.p. K.L.G. SPARKING PLUGS LIMITED. [Signature] Director. | ||
