-2- HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.2/JH.30.12.35. We see no reason why a car should not be eventually produced to have at least the freedom from pitching of the original Ph.ll together with the security required for violent driving. In considering Wraith we should ensure that the essential features in the design will allow for very soft springs. The important features being:- (a) Improved wheel movement. (b) Ability for soft spring without undue stress. (c) Adequate ground clearance on full bump. (d) Anti-roll rods. (e) Lateral stiffness of the frame to prevent sideway shake. The throw up on hump back bridges and tramping during violent braking we hope to overcome by special shock dampers. As regard the suspension of the 25HP and Bentley chassis, we have now on order some softer springs than previously used which we are going to try together with anti-roll rods.
