FRONT BRAKE EQUALISER.

In the report of the 10,000 miles, it refers to the inside bracket of this gear being rather weak, and also to the bushes having worn badly. We cannot see any force tending to bend the bracket, and we cannot see any particular [Handwritten insertion: reason] why the bushes should wear abnormally as compared for instance with those on the front axle, and with the cable forks themselves. If possible could you give us a little more information, for instance, are you satisfied that the gear was properly lubricated? Is it possible that there might have been errors of erection in the first case, or that the differential might have been hit in some way, causing the bracket to bend, and possibly resulting in wear of the bushes? We can of course easily stiffen the brackets, but the present looks to us to be sufficiently stiff.

Regarding the lubrication this is all to be done from an Enots nipple on the differential casing. Is it possible that this method of lubrication does not reach the bushes?
