22-EX. CAR.

22-EX. car is an experimental Phantom car.

This car has got very much out of date and before it can be used it will be necessary to modernise it with standard parts.

The chassis at present is fitted with an experimental frame. We have no further use for this and we wish to get rid of it because a number of new parts which are instructed cannot be fitted to this car because of this feature.

Owing to the abnormal amount of work we have in the Expl. Dept., we should be glad if you would agree that the Repair Dept. could carry out these modifications. The parts we wish them to fit are standard parts which are at present on production.

Another alteration on the car is that 22-EX. original body is scrap and we are changing on to it the body off the left-hand car 25-EX. This means bringing up to date the dashboard and bonnet.

We should be glad of your agreement that Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} can do this work for us.
