COPY. Morris Motors Ltd., Cowley, Oxford. May 27th, 1935. Dear Mr. Sidgreaves, I am writing to send you my best thanks for your kindness in letting me have the Bentley during last weekend. She is certainly a most beautiful job and, although quite a large proportion of the time I spent in her was occupied in trying to find something to criticise, I am afraid I have no adverse comments to make. When I first handled her it appeared to me that the steer-ing was not quite sufficiently positive, but after driving for a very short time this impression dis-appeared and no doubt it was swallowed up in the perfect efficiency of the car's performance. My only regret is that I could not spend more time in her but, unfortunately, circumstances arose which resulted in my being occupied for the greater part of the weekend. With renewed thanks and all good wishes, Yours sincerely, (Sgd.) Nuffield | ||
