We have received a complaint from Paris about overheating inside the above car.

In order to cure this complaint Paris report that they refitted the footboards and fitted cowling to the silencer.

They point out this is a very important complaint and one which they think is being considered by the Experimental Dept. They say that they have obtained highly satisfactory results by cowling the rear silencer and have tried most other things, principally metal tray under footboards, asbestos sheets under floorboards, neither of which gave anything like the results of the cowling.

Will you kindly let us know if you have any remarks to make regarding this matter.
