To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from EH. c. to BJ c. to E, c. to By.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X.2641. EH4/LG10.9.17. X.682 - AFTER THE WAR CHASSIS. Starting Motor. X.3082 We find that the present Push Button switch X.2641, is always actuated by the foot. We find that it is more convenient to press it with the foot because it can be got at comfortably from the drivers seat and it leaves both hands free to operate the controls. If it is considered that the switch should be operated by the foot, then it should be made with a more substantial button. We should save weight if we could combine the main switch and the push button switch. X.3034. X.3161 The Lucase motor has a switch which is quite satisfactory and very light, EH. | ||
