With reference to the attached memo OD/H21110, I think Mr. Oldham points our the difficulties to be contended with in these questions, and I think the Daimler device is merely a selling cry. I don't think it really will be of much use, but it might please the purchaser. Your opinion is quite right that rubber is not to be relied upon for long and the way the Daimler people have done it, I should not have thought much it would have been any good at all.
