re. 20-HP Slipper Drives.

Samples of fibre washers were supplied to me a short time ago, with a request that I should test and report to you.

We have run these on a car during routine of test and I return you two washers, one labelled from Spicer Bros. London, and the other labelled from J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Burn Ltd. Essex.

These fibres have been run about and have stood about on this car on test for about 14 days, and when taken down were found to be in quite good condition, and do not appear to have altered from their initial size.

We do not, however feel that this is a fair comparative test, as the Test Dept. is kept fairly warm and the trouble of the existing fibres swelling has not been experienced on cars on test, but after they have been standard at Coachbuilders or the cars have been in the hands of the customers.
