RE "DODGE" CAR. ---------------- I took the Dodge out for a short while yesterday. I should say it was an entirely impossible car. The engine was the roughest that I remember to have driven behind, not excepting any Ford, and was most distressing at any speed over about 28 miles an hour. The clutch was not particularly nice, and the speed-changing not so good as the other cars I have tried. The springing appeared to be better than the Essex, but was harsh and bouncy even then. The starting was quiet and effective. I do not think there is anything to be gained by running this car. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} [Watermark: DICKINSON & CO LION BRAND MADE AT CROXLEY] | ||
