Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/Evl/M7.5.31 contd -2- 2nd. Standard. One spare wheel at the rear carried on a dummy hub carrier to N.schs. 3184/5. This will apply to sporting cars which have the rear seat forward enough to permit of luggage being carried between the wheel and the body. 3rd. Standard. A dummy hub for attaching to the backs of bodies having boots. We have this now. 20/25 in future (Japan 3.) The same remarks as for P.2. apply. GENERAL REMARKS. We suggest that one way to put the case to the customer is to say P- "Whenever possible it is to the advantage of the customer to carry wheels at the rear to enhance the suspension. However if a luggage carrier is necessary then the wheel or wheels have to be carried at the side.c On short, light, bodies we strongly recommend that the wheels be carried at the rear".
