To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} 78450 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG28.6.26. STEERING. 78430 Answering Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}6/M23.6.26 attached to which is copy of BJ5/M23.6.26. We think the scheme set out by BJ. is a satisfactory way of dealing with the steering complaints. As we accumulate more experience with the weaker springs in the side steering tube, it might then be considered whether we should not change the springs on all cars whenever they are available. Although an owner may not complain, he might be grateful for the reduction in road shocks with the weaker springs fitted. We recommend however that this matter should be considered again in 3 months time. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
