To Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /Les. Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /WB. {Mr Brazier / Mr Bell} 25/KW.9.10.36. Shock Damper Connecting Tube. American Type - Rubber Control Pin Bushes. Further to previous report Hs {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} /WB. {Mr Brazier / Mr Bell} 1/JH.3.9.36. This particular tube had been tested on the Bump Chassis and one of the control pins had fractured. The undamaged end was subjected to similar tests to those applied to the new tube previously tested. The rubber pads were approximately 100% weaker in compression than the new pads, and slightly weaker torsionally, also after reaching joggling position the results were more erratic, as will be seen from the attached graphs.
