In reply to your memo E2/G26614 you may remember that these were favourably reported on by Mr. Hives on 26/1/14. Mr. Royce, on 29/1/14 said, "I think these should be excessively used." Mr. Dalley was instructed by yourself on 31/1/14 to order up further sets for standard-isation tests; he issued instructions on 9/2/14, and these were received by us on 24/2/14; a set was accordingly sent to France to be fitted to 7 CA on 27/2/14; a further quantity were to be sent to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence towards the end of April, but were despatched on May 26th. On the same day a set was fitted to the Test Engine for Mr. Hives observation, and we are writing to him to endeavour to obtain a report. They have also been fitted to chassis 58 NA.{Mr Nadin} p.
