10th December 1928.

Messrs. Rolls Royce Ltd.,
Experimental Department,
DERBY.

Dear Sirs,

For attention of Mr. Robotham.

We are in receipt of a communication from our Central Research Department, Paris, who inform us that the new jet system is now ready and with your permission they propose to send the foreman of the road testing section of our Research Department with the above addition in approximately one week.

May we beg to enquire whether it would be convenient for you to permit us to carry out this test, we should say about the middle of next week.

On receipt of your confirmation we will advise Paris and at the earliest moment will inform you of the date on which their engineer can attend at your Works for the above purpose.

Meanwhile, assuring you of our best attention,

Yours faithfully,
FOR SOLEX LTD.,
