Re: Continental Touring Saloon.
I duly received EVL/9.6.31, together with the drawings referred to.
The whole matter has been carefully considered and we think all agreed that the best course is to continue for the purpose of our own trials cars and exhibition cars, the Continental Touring Saloon with spare wheels at the back and to use the alternative positions at the side only in cases where customers want more accommodation for luggage.
We are all agreed that the general profile of the car shown in Sketch No. 3 was better than 26-EX. and we propose that our new show car for Olympia should be modelled on these lines, and further that we should have a drawing made for issuing to prospective purchasers in the future showing those lines instead of the old ones.
I have asked Gx. to return the drawings to you as soon as he has finished with them.
