IL 227 SV1/VS{J. Vickers}211S Reply to Wor{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}/Merl/L1811F We thank you for your memo but cannot understand why you should raise a question in regard to sending us a copy of the test report for this chassis as we usually receive a copy of the test report of each new chassis and as we believe 2200 is "ex experimental" we presume it was treated as a new chassis when being prepared for sale. It seems that our memo has gone to the wrong office as the reports are usually sent us from Mr. Platford's Department and are supposed to state the final condition of the chassis prior to dispatch to the Coachbuilder or Customer whereas you refer to a report issued "during the early stages". We are writing to the Owner asking for particulars of the load and we will write to you again on receipt of his reply. pp O.{Mr Oldham} E.S.V.
