- 2 - I went to Paris yesterday to arrange about getting the car back to England. I left all the papers relating to the car with Mr. Parsons, who is sending them on to "D" to get them signed by Robotham, and to return them to The General Transport Co. in London, which firm is getting the car across. Mr. Parsons wired you as to whether you would consent to having the car packed in a crate. The cost will be considerably more, but it will be difficult to move the car about otherwise. We have not been able to do any boiling tests up to the present. The weather prevents it, being very wet and cold. We will do the tests at the first opportunity. We should like some more front springs for 9 EK. if the car is to stop out here long. We have broken two, and are utilising the two spares I brought over. If we break one more, we can make one spring up with the leaves left from the broken ones, but after that we shall be stranded. Crofts and Shepard will be leaving for Derby to-morrow, Friday, August 22nd, providing that the doctor will let them go. A.J.LIDSEY. | ||
