The crankcase for "Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) II" has been arranged for a dynamo of 5¼" diameter, in accordance with Mr. Royce's instructions. This is the same diameter as the "Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine)) I" dynamo, and Mr. Royce expects that we shall add a third brush to this machine for the control, and if we find that the dynamo is not large enough as regards output, we shall add to its length. At the same time, it is desired to know what other machines are available of English make, suitable for the "Goshawk(Aero Engine)(Codename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after Kestrel(Aero Engine))" chassis, and Mr. Royce would like you to send up-to-date catalogues of C.A.V., Lucas, etc. giving this information.
