We have talked the matter over with Mr.Brock, and he is quite satisfied that he can maintain the depth from the valve cap face to the valve head within plus or minus .005. In the case of having to re-seat the valve, he has a tool for re-facing the valve cap seat which will enable him to get the correct depth again. Therefore we think that the valve caps we specify should be brought in as soon as possible, as shock absorbers are at present going out with no washers under the valve caps at all, which means that it will be impossible for outside depots to increase the loads.
