EX Car - 40/50 chassis fitted with open-touring body. 2. EX Car - " " " Cabriolet body. 3. EX Car - Hawk-Northcliffe " " open-touring body. 4. EX Car - 40/50 chassis " " Saloon body. 5. EX Car - " " 3-speed gear box and long type frame. This chassis at present is not fitted with a body. 6. EX Car - being used by Mr. Royce at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. 49-GB Car - 40/50 chassis fitted with special 4-speed gear box and special starter arrgt. - open-body. 7. CA Car - 40/50 chassis - no body. Marmon car, fitted with open body. Essex Car, being used by Mr. Royce at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town. Goshawk 1 chassis. Goshawk 11. chassis fitted with open-touring body. We also have an oil Packard 12-cylinder and a 6-cylinder Buick Car which we have asked Mr. Cowan to get rid of. We are not in a position to give you the cost per mile because we do not know the current price we pay for tyres, petrol and oil. The following particulars should enable you to arrive at this cost. We can give no figure for repairs because experimental cars are having parts changed so frequently. The tyre mileage for the R.R. cars averages 5,500 per tyre - 4,000 miles on the rear, 7,000 miles on the front. The average petrol consumption is 13 M.P.G. The average oil consumption is 1,000 M.P.G. We cannot give any particulars as regards the running cost as-se-far of the Goshawk cars. As regards the Marmon car, the tyre mileage on the car has so far been 8,000 miles per tyre.
