-2- EPI/FM. 9.8.30. The matter was also discussed by me with C. on the 6th June at London. He was anxious to settle at once one way or the other, so I confirmed the fact that we did not consider it suitable for a Trials Car. From PN{Mr Northey}'s remarks, the body fitted does not appear to have improved matters. However, the car has now arrived at the Works and I will go into the matter with Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} and possibly Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} It may pay us even now to change the body to another chassis; PN.{Mr Northey} strikes a good point in the latter part of his second paragraph.
