We have heard by telegram that the car in France has completed 6100 miles and is running satisfactorily. The adjustments have been made to the clutch and starter motor and these are now functioning reliably. We expect on Monday to have on the road 19-EX with the Hooper Sedanca and 20-EX with the Hooper limousine. 19-EX is fitted with solid engine feet in front. It has been arranged for E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} and DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} to come to Derby on Monday and go over the criticisms we have received from Hancock in connection with 18-EX. It has been arranged that when I bring 19-EX to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence next week I shall meet PN.{Mr Northey} and CWB. in France with 18-EX and shall travel together to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence. This will give us an opportunity of changing over cars and getting an average result from the two cars. We expect to arrive at Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence on Sunday the 6th. 20 HP. 10,000 MILES TEST IN FRANCE.
