40/50 HP. CHASSIS - REAR ROAD SPRINGS.
---------------------------------

We send you herewith print F.81737 and F.81757 showing the rear road springs for the Phantom ll chassis with the rolled eye at the rear end.

Before introducing this modification on production it is considered advisable to carry out certain bumping tests, therefore will you please arrange for say three sets of top and second plates to be supplied by Messrs. Firths as soon as possible.

The second plates have been increased in length at the rear end, hence the reason we are ordering these in addition to the main plates.
