x764a G.W. Hancock, Esq., Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}3/KW.18.11.35. On your big bore car you are running without a propellor shaft damper. Instead you have a spring damped flexible centre to the clutch. We are proposing to leave the propellor shaft off on production. So far on the cars we have been running about here we have had no transmission rattles under these conditions. We shall be glad to have your confirmation that the job is O.K. on the car you have.
