ROLLS-ROYCE OF AMERICA, INC. SPRINGFIELD, MASS. X1027 Oyl-W-62323 June 23, 1923. PERSONAL To: Mr. Hives From: Mr. Olley Chassis Tool Kit Replying to yours of June 9, I attach a list showing parts which we left off the tools and spares lists at the start of the job here, and reasons for leaving them off, also approximate saving in cost. I also send prints of super sheets F-7400 (1 and 2) Tools, and F-7420 Spares, showing parts supplied now. think You may/we are mean in respect of tools and spares, and from your point of view, with cars going to India, etc., perhaps the list is too small. But we have had no complaint or trouble on this score here, and the great thing is that we encourage the driver to lubricate the car, keep the generator belt tight, clean the throttle and air valve, and other wise leave the thing alone, which is what we chiefly desire. I attach a copy of our Instruction Book. Oy. M.{Mr Moon / Mr Moore} Olley | ||
