Contd. -2- EFC4/T7.9.21. that some of the leading manufacturers in this country have not been [handwritten: sufficiently] pioneering to place on the market a car of this description. I am aware that the total weight would probably be greater than at present and possibly the maximum efficiency somewhat less, but it seems to me that the other enormous advantages would out-weigh these considerations in the case of a high class car.
