Mr. West,
Leyland Motors Ltd.,
Leyland,
LANCS:

Dear Mr. West,

This letter is to thank you for the visit of Robotham and myself to your Works, and for the information you gave us about cast iron crankshafts.

Unfortunately, our Management has decided to postpone any tests on such material for the time being.

We hope that the aluminium tin bearings which we have sent you will prove satisfactory, and if you ever do run them against cast iron crank should, of course, like to hear the result.

Yours sincerely,
