BENTLEY ENGINE W.3.10 (ALUMINIUM)
EX CORNICHE 14.B.V.

We have today weighed the above engine complete, as follows:-

Distributor, Two coils, wiring.
Dynamo.
Light Corniche flywheels and 10" Long clutch.
(no clutch cover or pedal mechanism).
Fan Belt.
Induction and Exhaust Manifolds.
Two Carburetters and Silencer.
Crankcase full of oil.

As weighed 582 lbs.
Add R.R. starter 22½
_____
604½ lbs.
Less oil 16 lbs. Engine dry 588½
_____

In comparing this with the B.III weight analysis, it is necessary to add 18 lbs. which is the difference between the Corniche flexible wheel and the original rigid wheel, and this would bring the weight to 606 lbs. as compared to 592 lbs. shown in the analysis.
