1027? HOH Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/R.{Sir Henry Royce} 21st May, 1938. F.J. Finney, Esq., Messrs. Park Ward & Co.,Ltd., 473, High Road, Willesden, N.W.10. Dear Mr. Finney, Thank you for your letter of the 19th May. We are very pleased with the panels and leather, and have made our selection. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} will be sending you final finishing instructions forthwith. Provided we retain sufficient of the colour to re-paint damaged panels or wings, I do not think that, on the whole, a light colour is as impracticable for an experimental car as one might imagine. Black, which we have been in the habit of having in the past, is exceedingly sensitive to mud and chipped cellulose. We shall be very interested to have your suggestions for colour schemes for the third B.III and the second B.50 bodies. Yours sincerely, | ||
