B.60 UNIT NO.2.

We are returning the above unit for the following, prior to it being fitted in a chassis.

(1) Remove existing EB.4332 camshaft and fit original shaft EB.4022.
(2) Fit a new set of sodium cooled exhaust valves in accordance with our memo, Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell}19/MH.{M. Huckerby}24.11.38.
(3) Fit EB.4401/2/3 modified inlet valve springs and top and bottom washers.
(4) Fit new lower half joint.
(5) Spring drive damper has been fidgeting on the crank nose; tapers require cleaning up.
(6) No.1 connecting rod has been slightly damaged by the torsional indicator shaft. If necessary on inspection, a new rod to be fitted.
(7) Damper spring setting to be given later.
(8) Fit up-to-date B.V. induction system and carbs.
(9) Water pump leaks.
(10) Flywheel timing markings to EB.4021.
