With reference to our Sr/VA1/ET.2.12.36

WE WROTE TO Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} as per our Sr/VA3/ET.2.12.36 asking whether modified ball pads and washers to Blue Prints N°. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}130 and 132 had been fitted to chassis 3.AZ.214 which was fairly recently delivered to Kellners the Coachbuilders. Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} has informed us as per his MX{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}/JWI7/T.4.12.36 that modified ball pads and washers have not been fitted to this chassis.

Will you please arrange that a set is sent to us for this chassis. We attach our Official order n°. 1227 to D/B's copy of this memo.
