SILVER RIPPLE.

The clutch on this car passed out on my journey to Meltham on the 22nd, due to clutch slipping.

This car should be fitted with the standard 10" Bentley clutch, having semi-centrifugal operation and spring pressure reduced not quite equal to the reduction in engine torque.

The clutch on a car with poor power/weight ratio will always get a worse beating than one on a car with high power/weight ratio - that is why we require the 10" clutch with a small engine.
