BENTLEY. (1) LONG CLUTCH.
Smith, will arrange to fit one of the Long type clutch plates to 56.BN{W.O. Bentley / Mr Barrington}, and have the stiff half shafts removed.
(2) TIMING GEAR RATTLES.
Smith, will arrange to make a Bentley spring drive solid and see where we get gear rattles.
(3) CAMSHAFT BALANCER.
We consider that the camshaft balancer is unnecessarily costly and complicated. Will Smith, tell us whether we can get something approaching the same result with a simple strip steel spring like the Weller spring tensioner running against the cam.
