Before ordering Petrol proof rubber washers to Drawing F.54351 in bulk, we wish this type of Washer to be tried out Experimentally. Will the D.O. kindly order up and hand to the Experimental Dept. 12 of these Washers, the Rubber to be of the same quality as the sample supplied by the Avon Rubber Co. Will the Experimental try these in place of Cork Washer F.52521, and report to the D.O. as soon as possible. VERY URGENT. These Rubber Washers must be fitted above and below the glass.
