CHASSIS B.20 AW. Mr.Breedon.

Car came to Clan to investigate alleged big end knock; after a test run it was considered a piston or gudgeon pin knock (No.5 cyl). Also an elusive knock or thump from the front suspension was reported. New fabric packings fitted top and bottom of coil spring NS.{Norman Scott} New damper fitted NS.{Norman Scott}

There was no time to check if this changed effected a cure, the car was taken away during the afternoon.
