Fault found on a test bed, detailing alterations to an air valve and the introduction of a new needle part.

This fault shows up better on the test bed whereas in the case of the previous fault, this could only be found on the bed under certain isolated conditions. By the alteration to the air valve Rs.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}1725, the lift characteristic has been made more sensitive at high speeds. A new needle has been prepared and the necessary dimensions are already with the S.U. Co. of Birmingham. This is to be known as "XO2" replacing "XB8", and has been made .125 longer.
