LE CARBONE,

COVENTRY HOUSE,

SOUTH PLACE,

LONDON, E.C.2.

8.2.22.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
Nightingale Road,
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

X.3945. Your ref. Wd{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}/Dn3/HP7222.
X14383. Our ref. 6555/P.7331

We thank you very much for your favour of yesterday with reference to the brushes supplied to the order referred to, and have pleasure in confirming that brushes supplied by us marked "Z" are identical with that you term our grade "O". At one time our "Z" grade brushes were simply marked © but we later also adopted the use of the letter "Z" as an additional means of identification, and frequently this letter alone serves to designate the grade. Whenever you specify our "O" quality, we know you mean our "Z" grade, and we supply this material.

We trust this makes matters clear, and are,

Yours faithfully,

FOR LE CARBONE.
