Y4240 AIR VELOCITY TESTS. Graphs. A & B. From this one gathers that the Fan has a considerable cooling effect at slow speed with shutters closed. This is not so noticeable with shutters open. At high speed in both cases the Fan appears to considerably increase the air velocity through the radiator, probably because it reduces the piling up air on the front of the radiator. C & D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Without the Fan, at all speeds, closing the shutters much reduces the mean air velocity. With Fan, closing the shutters only appears to have a slight effect. | ||
