BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to Hor. c. to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X4257 ROY{Sir Henry Royce}9/1010.8.23 4257 As discussed just before the Holiday, Messrs. Braime are proceeding with the manufacture of 20 HP. Brake Drum Pressings for Chassis 751 and onwards in .6 Carbon Steel, at a cost of some 6/- extra per Chassis, but point out they are expecting difficulties in the pressing of such Drums, and want us to agree they may use material 1/32" thicker than previously, and so avoid the possibility of the Drums being under our finished requirements at any point, and also allow a proper pressing margin in view of the difficulties they expect with the harder material. Is there any objection? ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
