FERRODO M.R. BRAKE LININGS FOR BENTLEY CHASSIS.
---------------------------------------------

Our Inspection Dept. have drawn our attention to the fact that the last deliveries of the above brake linings have been supplied in the plain condition i.e. that they have not been finished off with the black dressing in the same way as they used to be.

We have taken this matter up with Ferrodo Limited, and they advise us that they have discontinued the black finish on the M.R. material and apologise that they have not notified us of their intention to do so.

Before we agree to accept liners in the untreated condition, we shall be glad to have your opinion in regard to this matter as it is thought that the black dressing may possibly act as a kind of lubricant and the braking may be effected by the use of same being discontinued.

We attach hereto for your examination, one of the old treated type and one of the new and as Ferrodo Limited, have delivered considerable quantities of the latter, we shall be glad to have your opinion in respect to same as quibkly as possible.
