X.3568. RE "GOSHAWK" BRAKE GEAR.

We send you herewith drawing LeC.1321 showing the Brake Mechanism carried on the "Goshawk" back axle. It has been found necessary to make a special scheme of this at Wittering owing to the difficulties created by the two brake actuating shafts being so close together. Information giving Mr. Royce's criticisms of the general brake scheme will be sent later.

Would you kindly instruct the works to proceed.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
