The Efficiency of the Mistproof Plate. THE design of the MISTPROOF PLATE is the result of extensive scientific research, carried out under working conditions in all seasons for a considerable period. The heating wires have been cut down to the least possible number, the smallest possible gauge, and they are quite unnoticeable. Precaution has been taken throughout to avoid reflection in bright sunlight, and also to provide a greater heating effect on the surface of the screen exposed to the weather. The upper edge of the Plate provides a ledge and prevents snow sliding from the higher portion of the screen, across the line of view; the lower edge provides a sill enabling the plate to clear itself. The quantity of current required is 3 amps for a 12 volt plate, and in practice it has been found that the standard lighting sets as supplied upon small light cars will carry the extra load with ease. We claim that this Plate constitutes the first notable advance in windscreen construction since the introduction of transparent screens. All other screens having to be opened or removed when they are most wanted, that is under conditions of snow, frost, or fog. This Plate is not affected by mist or fog and will maintain a driving view in snow and rain. ORDER AT ONCE! YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. The Mistproof Plate. An Electrical Attachment for maintaining an effective . . . DRIVING VIEW UNDER ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS. Patents applied for in all principal countries. PRICE (FITTED): £3 : 15 : 0. CAN BE FITTED TO ANY SCREEN. RUN FROM ANY LIGHTING SET. REQUIRES NO ATTENTION. NO WEARING PARTS. THE MISTPROOF SCREEN CO., 150, Horsley Fields, WOLVERHAMPTON. | ||
