X467 To D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP. from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T16.11.25. RE BATTERIES. Thank you for your D {John DeLooze - Company Secretary} /BP4/CW12.11.25 . I am not interested in failures of any batteries except the present standard; that is to say :- For the 40/50. Exide 6RR5. and P & R RR.11. For the 20 HP. Exide 6XL3/4 and P & R RBD.7. In the case of the 40/50, this refers only to those batteries since the dimensions have been increased to use the space inside the battery box to the best advantage. Naturally, I am anxious to know of any failures which may occur, or have occurred, in batteries precisely like those which are going on chassis at the present moment. I think most of the instances you have given me may refer to older type batteries, as except in the case of the P & R TBD7, these latest batteries have not been supplied for a time anything like equivalent to what their normal life should be.
