For the attention of Mr.Booth.

Dear Sirs,

When the writer was at your Works some time ago, Mr.Booth mentioned a spring device being tried on Wolseley separate top bonnets fitted with Widney hinges, this device being to cause the top plates to open slightly as soon as the catch was released. Could you please let us have a sketch (or details if such exist) of this scheme by return, if possible, as we wish to consider incorporating it on the Widney hinge bonnet of the type which you have supplied to us.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
