With reference to the starting on 40/50 Chassis,
we suggest that whilst we are not in a position to fit electric starters to existing cars, we might go a long way to satisfy customers if we fitted a primer to assist starting. With a primer, the effort of hand-starting is reduced to an absolute minimum; one can nearly guarantee that the engine will start every time after being turned one revolution.

On the Experimental Cars we have got so used to using the primer that we are liable to forget the difficulties of starting on ordinary cars. The cost of a primer is so small that we suggest it should be recommended to all customers.
